Abstract Detail
Teaching Section Gibson, Phil [1]. Where are the botanical and fungal case studies? Case studies are a proven, effective approach in science education for both small group and large lecture settings. However, a recent survey of one of the the largest collection of science case studies found that in over 300 published case studies, only 5 addressed botanical topics and only 1 addressed fungi. This talk gives an overview of case study teaching and the case study collection available through the National Center for Case Study Teaching in Science. Log in to add this item to your schedule
